Because shipping is, by its very nature, an international and dynamic business, it requires DEX’s team of professionals to integrate different sources of information and a variety of skills.
DEX offers of full range of consulting services for all types of vessels, including management, crewing and consultancy.
From our main offices in Piraeus, we carefully monitor the economic and geographic relationships between price
and availability of commodities and goods.
Trading Financial Services & Real Estate
Because of their natural link with the sea transportation industry, trading and financial services are two other areas of DEX’s activities.
Using our own network of correspondents, supplemented by international electronic data reporting systems, DEX keeps track of fluctuations in supply and demand worldwide.
This careful monitoring of international markets coupled with the advice of several independent financial advisors and our own judgment, enable us to buy and sell on advantageous terms – and frequently arrange shipment in vessels.
DEX also has moved into real estate in response to an increasing market interest in business property development
in the Athens – Piraeus metropolitan area.
